Philips Lighting release Master LEDtube Linear Fluorescent LED Alternative

An energy saving alternative to the linear fluorescent lamp, the Philips MASTER LEDtube replaces an old favourite with Greener technology
Philips have launched the Master LEDtube range, offering up to 50% energy saving when compared to the traditional linear fluorescent lamp. Currently available in 2ft 11watt, 3ft 17 watt and 4ft 22 watt versions with the 5ft 25 watt due for release at the end of May 2011, the lamp has been designed for general lighting applications such as office and industrial spaces, as well as warehouses and retail outlets. The whole range will be available in either cool white 4000K or daylight 6500K colour temperatures.

Philips Step in to fill the void left by UK’s favourite light bulb!
The 60W incandescent lamp has become the latest casualty of the EU phase out of GLS light sources. As of 1 September, it has become illegal to manufacture or import the popular but inefficient lamp that was once the mainstay of interior lighting particularly in homes throughout the country.
